Trunk/cassone  of partially hand carved walnut in high relief from Sienna in Italy. This stunning antique piece features ornate floral and angel carvings and sits on four dragon feet. It has forged iron handles. It was traditionally at the heart of the dowery in noble Tuscan families, inside the Cassone the bride kept her trousseau.
